How to Find the Best Digital Marketing Agency

In order to find the best digital marketing agency, first, we need to understand “what is digital marketing”, “will digital marketing benefit your business” and answer the question “how do I get more leads for my business?” – which should be the purpose of any marketing.

What is a Digital Marketing Agency?
The dictionary definition of Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium. So simple to summarise in one sentence, yet it can be a complicated process to get right and to ensure that all of your digital marketing is working together, not as silo activities. This is where the expertise and experience of the best digital marketing agencies can be hugely beneficial.

Traditional advertising, newspapers and paper directories, such as Yellow Pages, are increasingly less effective for businesses. Whilst a few years ago people would go to a computer to search for a product or service, nowadays people are connected to the internet all day, every day and “live online”. Looking for information, a product or service is as quick and simple as searching on a laptop or computer at work or picking up their mobile telephone or tablet. Digital marketing focuses on getting your information, products and services in front of people when they are looking online. The best digital agencies understand the buying process of your products and services and ensure that your information is prominent to the potential customer at the appropriate time. In the digital marketing world, the various stages of the buying process i.e. research, consideration and purchase are called “micro-moments” and the very best digital marketing agency will present the relevant information, service or product at the targeted time in the buying process.

Whilst some digital marketing agencies will also create and manage traditional advertising or business marketing, such as newspaper advertising, specialist digital marketing agencies will concentrate on online marketing as opposed to “marketing companies” who commonly concentrate on TV, radio and print marketing.

Regardless if your business is business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C), digital marketing can be a fast, often instant, and reliable way of getting leads into your business and driving up revenue. The very best digital marketing agencies will manage all of the digital advertising based on return on investment (ROI) ensuring the leads generated are at a cost that makes business sense and increases profit levels. Digital marketing will benefit your business and answers the question “how do I get more leads for my business”?

Digital marketing, sometimes referred to as website marketing, can be broken down into a number of important features and services:

SEO Services
Search engine optimisation, most commonly abbreviated to “SEO”, is the process of getting your website found on search engines like Google when people make a search relevant to your business, services or products.

Regardless if your website is e-Commerce or selling services it will drive leads and sales into your business if it is found for the search terms people use (often referred to as “keywords”) to look for them in Google.

SEO requires experience and understanding of how Google reads your website. What messages and information you want Google to read for a webpage or website and knowing where to place that information so search engines can find it. A good SEO company will have a proven track record of ranking websites high in the search results.

SEO works best when the proven methods of obtaining rankings are applied in conjunction with latest trends that are driving traffic. An example of this is the “near me” phenomenon, which has seen a 150% growth in the last 12 months, where mobile phone users are adding “near me” to their search query i.e. “SEO Company near me”. These customers are looking to buy and buy from a local service or product supplier.

Although SEO can be a stand-alone service, it is most effective when combined with PPC, social media and reputation marketing. SEO is also the cornerstone of effective PPC, social media and reputation management campaigns.

Pay Per Click
Pay Per Click (PPC) often referred to as “Google Advertising” or “online advertising” is where you position adverts at the top of the search results for specific search terms. These search terms can be the words people use when in the “research” phase of making a purchase or targeted at the “buying keywords” when potential customers are looking to buy.

Although your advert, depending on your budget, can be shown every time a search is made, you only pay when an internet user clicks on your advert and is taken to your website or calls you direct from the search results page meaning you only pay when you get a click from a potential customer hence the name for this form of marketing of Pay Per Click (often abbreviated to PPC).

How much you pay for each click is determined by a few factors. The “cost per click” (abbreviated to CPC) is determined by the quality and relevancy of the advert to the search term being used and the relevancy of the page on your website that the potential customer land on. These factors contribute to your overall “quality score”. The higher your quality score, the less you pay per click and less you pay per lead into your business.

In the UK, Google has the vast majority of search traffic and most of your budget should be placed their, however, you will not want to miss the smaller, yet still considerable potential for customers from search engines like Microsoft’s Bing platform, and a small part of the budget should be allocated to other search engines. Also, the very best PPC management companies will also discuss spreading your PPC budget over a number of campaigns aimed at different parts of the customer journey. A small part of the budget should be allocated to the research stage of the buying process when people are using broad search terms to find information, a small part of the budget when people are searching for yours, your competitors or market leaders company name. The majority of the budget when potential customers are using search terms directly related to making a purchase and lastly, a small part of the budget to re-market (show your advertising to people who have shown an interest in your services or products by visiting your website) to capture and drive up conversions from the customers previously advertised too.

The best PPC Agency will be a Google Premier Partner. A Google Premier Partner status indicates that the company has a proven track record in delivering high-quality campaigns, which generate good competitive/low CPC’s and deliver high and positive ROI’s. The very best PPC agency will have a robust PPC management process in place to quickly react and capitalise on changes in the PPC campaigns of your competitors.

Unlike SEO, that can take some time to be fully effective, Pay Per Click is instant in the fact that as soon as your campaigns are live they can be generating leads for your business.

PPC is highly effective when carried out in unison with SEO. A well-optimised website will improve the quality score of your Google advertising campaigns resulting in a reduced “cost per click” meaning you get more leads for your budget.

Social Media Marketing
Social Media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter are now legitimate places for a business to attract leads. Facebook has over 38 MILLION active and regular users in the UK and the number is anticipated to rise to over 42 MILLION by 2020. Regardless if your business sells to consumers or other businesses, your potential customers are on Facebook and using it often.

Facebook is excellent at raising awareness during the customers “research” stage, reminding them of your services or products during the “consideration” stage and putting your specific products in front of potential customers at the “buying” stage. With such a large audience and the flexibility to target customers throughout the buying process, Facebook can be a good avenue to generate leads and sales and to deliver a great return on investment.

A good digital marketing agency will have a proven track record in delivering highly effective Facebook advertising campaigns. The very best digital marketing agencies will be able to demonstrate the conversion rate and cost per lead of your social media marketing.

Again, social media marketing and specifically Facebook marketing can be carried out as a stand-alone activity however it works so much better when combined with SEO and/or PPC. When a potential customer visits your website their computer is marked as having visited. This then allows you to target the user of that computer, who has shown an interest in your products or services.

Reputation Management
When considering making a purchase, a potential customer will scour the internet to find feedback and reviews from previous customers. Your online marketing and sales can live or die by the reviews for your business, services or products. Ensuring that positive reviews are easy to find and that any negative feedback is managed well, can be a huge benefit to your conversion rate.

Digital marketing companies call this “reputation management” or “online reputation management” however, in reality, it is creating systems to generate customer reviews and customer feedback ensuing positive customer satisfaction is captured and easy to find for potential customers.

Many businesses are concerned with allowing the public the ability to openly provide feedback. You cannot please all of the people all of the time, and companies worry that a bad review will have a negative impact on their business. Firstly, if someone is determined to leave a bad review for your business they will find a platform to do so and there are 1000’s of platforms to choose from. It is better to have control of where customers are encouraged to leave a review. Secondly, a poor or bad review, if managed well, can be a positive for your business. Engaging with a bad review highlights that you care about feedback and subsequently, you care about your customers. One well managed bad review can be as good for your business ten good reviews.

A startup business lacks big budgets for advertising purposes. On the other hand, they don’t have the resources as well. Hence, these businesses find it difficult to compete against the big boys in the industry. In fact, a startup has only big ideas and hard work to compete with the big businesses in the niche. How To Jumpstart Your Business For Online Success

Starting off on the right foot is important for any business online. With so many choices for products and services online, potential customers need to find you. Furthermore, they have to decide that what you have to offer is what they need.

Fortunately, it has never been easier for businesses to create their websites the way they want to than now. Modern technology has made it possible for tools and more to be made accessible to everyone, at affordable prices. With these in mind, what businesses need is to have a step-by-step plan to jumpstart their business online.

An action-based business plan

A carefully planned out business approach won’t work unless you put emphasis on the execution rather than the theory. Invest your planning on a specific approach to achieve the goals you have for your business. Execute each step for success.

Your name is everything

A great domain name is your first gateway to online success. The domain of your site should be easy to remember and memorable enough that it will stick with your customers and prospects. There are many domain brands out there with relatively affordable offers, so make sure to explore your options well and register the perfect name for your business. Use domain lookup to check for availability or domain name search to find the right extension.

Build your website

Building your business website isn’t just about design or the basics. Find the right developer with whom you can directly collaborate with, especially if you’re building an e-commerce website. Go for a modern, professional look that suits your branding and line of business.

You can opt for outsourced services or search for referrals from people you know. Creating your website is also possible with a website builder and more, but a developer comes in handy to keep things working as they should. Afterwards, find a good web hosting service to launch everything online.

Create landing pages

Even if you’re still building your site, it’s a good idea to create a buzz around your brand. Complete this by putting up a landing page and collecting information from prospects. This way, you’ll be able to start gathering email addresses which you can use to get ahead with your marketing.

Keep your landing pages sleek and simple, with short, catchy content to encourage people to keep in touch. With the data you collect, you can then start with your email marketing.

Keep learning through constant testing

Finally, if everything you’ve set out to do is accomplished, don’t just sit back. Having an online business entails constant testing, and ultimately, constant improvement. This is the path to growth, which also ensures that you’re giving your audiences the best experience they can out of your site.

Is Internet Addiction a Growing Problem?

We all know we get addicted to alcohol and beverages. We also get addicted to work and cannot help leaving it. Have you ever thought we could be getting addicted to the internet? Is it a growing problem?

Life without internet is impossible these days. It has become an essential commodity of life in many ways.

We can Google and find out stuff easily. We can look up meanings of words and phrases conveniently. We can browse, email and build our own websites. It is a chain of stuff we feel we have to do and sometimes they are mandatory to boost our work and business.

But what happens when you know we cannot depart from it? We are always in front of monitor screens at work and on our cell phones on our commute back home. We hardly pay attention to our significant other or our enthusiastic children who are ready to greet us after a long while.

We can hardly get internet out of our head and after every meal, we will find ourselves on internet either on phone, laptop, tab, or PC. Instead of making long distant calls, we will chat on Skype or Viber via internet because they are free to use. As more digital tools get invented, we can hardly correct our addiction.

Is it something to worry about? Yes, certainly our family, friends, relatives and colleagues’ relationships get at stake. We no longer want to communicate with them or talk to them because internet is giving us so much fun and entertainment. As a result, when we need them in our dark hours or illness, we won’t find them available. We will in fact be the loneliest creatures on this earth. Will internet help us then? Circumstances can only tell.

Therefore, it is wise to be in control and disciplined. Too much of anything is not good and we shouldn’t cross our boundaries.

We shall stay on the internet for some of the time and also laugh and play with our children and family. We should also hang out with friends for real and have loads of fun. We should strike interesting conversations with our colleagues at work. Now that is called life. Life relying on only internet is no life at all. When we realize this, perhaps like alcoholics and workaholics, we can correct ourselves and find back the real mojo of life that we once had.

The Magic of Seeing Your Work On the Internet

Over the years my web sites have developed into highly informative and well received documents that can be easily referenced. The thrill of putting up my first site, however, is still with me. Putting words into the computer and sending an e-mail has got to be admired but when you can put some coding with them and send them into cyber-space and see the results come back that everyone in the world can read it is incredible.

When my first site went live it was in 1997. While there were books and hundreds of pages telling you how to do it, it wasn’t until you actually accomplished it that the power of the web hit home. It was hard and took a lot of learning to understand the code and how simple errors could take ages to pinpoint and fix.

One had to know about the heading and the myriad of instructions that one has to include in order for the site to work properly. Then the style, font, colour, columns, and such, all had to be known. They still trick me after all this time but generally they are under control.

Now all one has to do is use a program, which most web providers put at your disposal. But knowing the coding system enables me to be unique in my style and most of my sites are different to anything else on the Internet. In some cases, you can type directly into the spaces provided and it’s instantly published.

The number of sites that are live and flourishing is amazing and to think that my sites are also there is very rewarding. The Internet is truly a touch of magic in a world where such is now becoming an everyday event. The question is how far can we go with technology of this type.

Get the Most Value for Your Investment

Don’t underestimate the influence your website has on those who visit it. Nothing is going to get them to leave faster than slow loading pages or colors that are hard on the eyes. You need something that is professional, inviting, and keeps them looking around. They should be able to navigate with ease, reach customer service, and complete an order hassle free.

In order to make this happen, you need efficient website development services. This is just too important to trust to anyone without researching them and talking to them. You need to verify you are going to gain significant value for the investment you make. It may surprise you how affordable a great website can be when you have the right developer on your side.

Layout

Think about the overall layout you wish to share with your target audience. This information should also be shared with the website development services you consider for the job. If you aren’t sure what you would like, allow them to come up with some concepts and share them with you. By hiring an expert, you can allow them to create it all for you.

If you already have a website, they can talk to you about what needs to be changed to make it perfect. If you don’t have one, they can get it right for you from the very beginning. Once a layout is approved, they can share with you how long it will take to create it. Everything will be tested before it is launched and you can also ask for any changes before it goes live.

Checkout

Don’t make the mistake of a poor checkout area for your products or services. You don’t want to miss out on the sale because the customer gets frustrated at that point. The checkout should give them options, be secure for them to enter their information, and allow them to complete their purchase in the least amount of time.

Your website development services can make this possible. The use of drop down menus to allow them to select special offers, shipping choices, and other specifics for their purchase will be appreciated. This also helps reduce the risk of errors with the orders that have to later be corrected.

Customer Service

Make sure there is a simple and straightforward process in place for your visitors to contact customer service. This includes those who have made a purchase and those who may have questions before they place their order. Talk to your website development services about the importance of this and find out what they can do for you.

The convenience of shopping online is appreciated by customers, but the biggest complaint is a lack of quality customer service. Make sure they can reach out by phone, email, or even online chat systems to get help when they need it. This will help you to build a loyal customer base!

Updates

Any great website is going to continue to be a work in progress. There should be updates including security, adding new information, adding new products or services, and changes to keep up with consumer demands. Make sure the website development services are going to stick with you for the long term and assist you with such updates.

The goal is to obtain website development services that allow you to have a website you can be proud of. It is professional, highly functional, and your visitors are happy with it. At the same time, they should offer all of this behind the scenes help at a price that is reasonable. Compare what is offered to ensure you get the best possible website!

Ideal Solutions To Success Online

If you have ever spent time looking for ideal solutions to success online, you could find yourself very frustrated. You found that there are basic ways to succeed in this line of work. You know that online work isn’t hard, physical labor. Working online is easy in that there isn’t a lot of physical work involved. People who work hard as builders, factory workers, office personnel and in administration, must work hard and produce good results or they no longer have a job. Online work isn’t hard physically. However, it takes tenacity, perseverance, and a little knowledge to be successful. Perhaps herein lies part of your annoyance. Let’s look at some things that bring frustration into your ideal online performance. The items are not listed in any particular order of difficulty or ordered frustration levels.

Number 1, Building a Website

The number one thing that frustrates many people and keeps them from being successful online is building a website. This one thing kept me from being successful online years ago. When you find the right training building a website can be really easy. You don’t have to know HTML to build one today. You can learn how to make a website at certain locations on the Internet. There are places where you can learn how to make a free website.

Number 2, Finding a Domain Name

The best way to relieve frustration from finding a domain name is to first find the niche you want to promote. The name of your site needs to match the niche you have chosen. So, the way you keep this from being frustrating is to identify your niche, and then write a list of 10 to 15 names that describe your niche. It’s like choosing a title for a book, the title must tell what the book is about. Same with your domain name. It must tell what your niche is about. I prefer to stick with a .com. It’s just a personal preference that you don’t have to adhere to.

Number 3, Getting Site Ready

Until you learn, getting your site ready for search engine optimization can be really frustrating. Actually, it can be next to impossible if you don’t have the proper training. Again, I have a page for you to review that explains the ins and outs of preparing your site for SEO. Again, you can write articles, use social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. The big question you need to ask is, “Where are you going to get the training and knowledge on how to make these ideas work for you?”

Number 4, Getting Traffic

The number one goal for any marketing site is to drive traffic to it. There are many ways to do this, but the only way I choose to do this is by writing good content for my website. What if you can’t write, or at least you think you can’t? Many sites offer training on how to write. The training on a few sites is phenomenal. Every bit of the training is to help you build a site, monetize it and then drive traffic to it. You can learn so many ideas on what to write that you will never run out of something to write about. Getting traffic is almost done for you. All you have to do is follow directions.

Number 5, Training

Before I found a helpful site, training was my nemesis. The lack of training defeated me every time and cost me money. The training I have gotten has given me a handle on success. I have learned how to succeed because I have been trained well. Following are a few things I have been able to find online:

Certification Courses: 5 Levels

1. Getting Started

2. Build Your own Traffic Producing Website

3. Making Money!

4. Mastering Social Engagement

5. Achieving Maximum Success Through Content Creation

Each level has several courses and the training available to make you successful! I repeated most of the lessons. Some were simple but needed more exploring. Others were new to me and my then limited expertise. I can’t believe how much knowledge is packed into these lessons. Yet the progress from one step to the next is given in easy steps for those who aren’t technologically proficient when they begin the courses.

You Get All the Training

Every site that I tried before this would promise they could teach me how to be successful. What they taught me was that I needed to hire a group of professional online gurus to help me build a successful online business. I paid good money to learn this, too. Their ads said that even a monkey could learn how to use their program. I guess that I’m not as smart as a monkey because I couldn’t begin to understand what they were trying to teach me. “You’ll never believe how easy it is to make money online,” their ads read. I learned the hard way, out of pocketbook hard way, that paper will lie still and let you write anything on it. At least the paper they wrote on did! I was never able to follow more than the first couple steps. Not nearly enough to learn anything. However, all that has changed now. Since I found this site, I have learned how to be successful online. All I’ve done since I’ve been here is grow and grow. That’s where I am. That was what I was looking for in the first place. Can I tell you that I found a place where you can work at your pace, make the amount of money you want to make, and work when and where you want to.

Work for Yourself

The best boss you will ever have is YOU. Working for yourself online doesn’t require lots of energy. You don’t have to have a specific location where you go to work. With today’s technological advances, you can work from nearly anywhere. I prefer to work at home with my family nearby. That’s where you can find yourself, too. Are you ready for the change? Are you ready to be your own boss? Then don’t wait! Visit me to begin today!

Strategies for Online Reputation Management

Online reputation management is one of the most demanded digital marketing service in this year. To attract your potential customers and to control their buying decisions, you have to build a strong online reputation. There are mainly three strategies that you should keep in mind to increase your search engine visibility and online presence.

    1. Monitoring and Responding
The most important step in boosting your online reputation is monitoring and responding online activities. At any point, your business could be subjected to bad reviews from sites like TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google map. Meanwhile, the positive reviews will help your company to go forward. Not managing the negative reviews will drive your business into the ground. Always keep in mind that, you should take control of your reputation before it’s too late. By monitoring the reviews, get an idea of which areas of your business are doing well and which areas need improvement. Try to respond to the reviews within a time period of 24 hours. The objective is keeping your current customers satisfied while gaining new customers for your business.
    1. Fixing your listing distribution
The consistency of your business information is important to achieve higher search engine rankings. A consistent business line means that you are trustworthy and the search engines will suggest you to the right customers. Google maps and Apple maps are the sources where customers daily search to find businesses for shopping. Studies show that seventy-five percent of the customers lose trust in the brand due to an inaccurate business listing. Having consistent business details gives you a better search engine results.
  1. Creating social community
The increase in social media usage shows the importance of managing your reputation in social channels. Social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Instagram become a new form of service in which people share their thoughts about brands and businesses online every day. By creating a community you will get the chance to respond to the complaints. Most of the customers buy a product after liking or sharing it in social media channels. They also ask their friends and other customers through social media to get suggestions about brands, products and services. With a social media marketing strategy, you will keep your name in your potential customer’s mind by engaging in their everyday life and being present when they want to make a purchase decision.

How To Choose a Niche For Your Website

Are you considering having a website or a blog to make money online? That’s an awesome decision and when I first thought of it I had absolutely no idea what was involved or what to do.

It seems that there’s this perception that you can make a website page or maybe even 10 pages and then somehow our site will get visitors and we’ll make some money online. Easy money, how hard can it be right?

Well there’s quite a bit more to it than that believe me, if you really want to pay some bills and put food on the table and gas in the car. I guess the first thing that you would need to do would be to choose a niche. “What’s a niche” some say.

What is a Niche?

A group of people all with the same interest in (a niche like sewing) something, for example a specialized segment of the market for a particular kind of product or service:

“I believe that I’ve found a niche in the market that can be quite profitable”. The niche could be cell phones or accessories or brownies, there’s so many niches to choose from the hardest thing sometimes is to choose one!

That specialized segment of the market is the “niche”, an example would be: In the automotive repair industry a niche would be brake repair or oil changes or transmissions, car washes, etc.

If you were in the appliance industry and sold garbage disposals, that would be your niche and you could do quite well selling garbage disposals too.

So then the first thing that you have to decide is what niche is the right niche for you to make your own website about? This is where a lot of people really have a hard time, myself included I must say!

Once you realize that pretty much everything is a niche so there are tens of millions of niches to choose from and that can be intimidating to many and it can be really hard to choose.

But when you do make your choice don’t second guess yourself but go reach your goals without wavering and doubting yourself, which can sink your own ship.

Don’t look back, you can make wise positive choices each day as you move forward closer and closer to your goals (which can also be adjusted or changed as you move forward and can see clearer).

What is a niche website?

A niche website is a site that focuses on a group of people who all like or use a particular product or have a certain need or goal.

I know a couple of people who encountered real physical problems and challenges, who started websites to inform others and to fight a disease.

The possibilities are endless and there are so many to choose from so there is no perfect one for you or me, but many choices that will work just fine for us.

Something to keep in mind is that the chosen niche will in time be just one of the chosen niches that you’ll have as some affiliate marketers will have more than a few products and programs that they’re marketing online through social medias and search engines and/or email marketing.

While they’ll target a specific term or phrase that people use when they search for a thing on the search engines. A niche website offers it’s visitors good useful up-to-date information as they supply a solution to the visitors interest or problem.

One word of advise, when choosing a niche for your website or blog, choose something that is really an interest to you, something that you can continuously write about.

It would be best if the chosen niche was a hobby, a passion or something that you want to learn about and share.

Now once you become a website owner you, as an affiliate, would promote products, programs and services that are related to your chosen niche.
